North of Puerto Vallarta, near Sayulita on the scenic north coast of Banderas Bay lies Monkey Mountain, the largest hill south of Punta Mita and the area's largest and most visible landmark. This hike takes us to the top of Monkey Mountain, where we will have a spectacular 360° view of the beaches, coastline, and seemingly endless vistas of the Riviera Nayarit. We will begin our excursion with a one hour semi-shaded uphill hike through the winding jungle trails of Monkey Mountain. On our quest for the summit, we will encounter a wide variety of exotic birds, butterflies, lizards and tropical trees along the way. Your naturalist guide will teach you about the the flora and fauna of the area as well as the natural ecosystem of Puerto Vallarta while enjoying the true essence of nature as you walk. Once we reach the summit, we’ll take a rest
and enjoy a beverage and snack looking out over the magnificent
views, before making our way
