This amazing birdwatching tour visits three unique habitats: San Pancho, Sayulita, and the very special Sierra del Vallejo Biosphere Reserve. On this excursion we will watch for birds in dry forest, tropical forest and tidal wetlands all in one morning! Sierra del Viejo is located inland from the area north of Puerto Vallarta known as Nuevo Vallarta. Birds flock to the brackish water created by the Pacific Ocean and Ameca River.

Our birding adventures continue as we make our way to Sayulita and San Pancho, with an estuary overflowing with bird life, really a great destination. We will first visit the tropical rainforest and enjoy a light breakfast among sightings of Hummingbirds, Parakeets, Kiskadees, Flycatchers, Woodpeckers, and more. In the course of this spectacular day of birdwatching, we may sight over 40 unique species in a day! Cruise Passengers: Yes! This tour makes a great shore excursion.
