Now you can swim with live sea lions in Nuevo Vallarta! These cuddly, playful creatures are a real joy to watch and even more of a joy to personally interact with. Our Advice: If you're going to Las Caletas because you want to do the cruise, the snorkel is a convenient add-on. However, don't go just for the snorkel - the encounter is very rewarding. |

Q: I CAN'T SWIM - CAN
I STILL DO THE SEA LION ENCOUNTER?
A: Yes. The water is only waist deep.
Q: HOW MANY PEOPLE
WILL BE IN THE WATER WITH ME?
A: The maximum number of people to a Sea
Lion Encounter is 8.
Q: I HAVE YOUNG KIDS
- CAN THEY SWIM WITH SEA LIONS?
A: Yes, as long as they are over 4.5 feet
tall (shorter than that and the water is too deep for them to stand comfortably).
Kids 12 and under need to do the activity with an adult, however.
Q: CAN OTHERS COME
AND WATCH ME SWIM WITH THE SEA LIONS?
A: Yes. Just let us know at the
time of reservation.
Q: CAN THEY TAKE PICTURES
OF ME?
A: No. The tour operator takes and
sells photos and videos of you doing your swim. They won't let you do
it yourself - then nobody would buy from them! Sorry, we don't make the rules...
Q: CAN I SWIM WITH
THE DOLPHINS AND SEA LIONS IN THE SAME DAY?
