The newly opened singletrack sections in the Litibu area north of Puerto Vallarta are some of the best mountain biking trails around. These are mostly old dirt roads or horse trails, modified so that advanced mountain bikers can get some awesome rides on them. This is a tough advanced ride, with a great payoff on the downhill for experienced mountain bikers. THIS TOUR IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE The ride is steep up towering Monkey Mountain, but we are rewarded with astonishing 360° views from the summit. You must be an experienced rider for the technical challenge of the initial downhill, but at the base of the hill there are a few singletrack trails with less inclination that are fun and easier to ride. You can usually customize this tour to your interests as well. Some riders may wish to extend the tour to ride the trails all the way to Sayulita. This extra section is an advanced technical ride though, so only recommended for very experienced mountain bikers. Cruise Passengers: Yes! This tour is available to you as a shore excursion. Meet at the marina at 10:00 AM and return to ship at 4:00 PM. Runs: Daily at 10:00 AM. This tour is seasonal and runs from November to June only.
